What we collect
When you submit a quote request we collect the details you provide: pickup and delivery locations, shipment type and description, your name, and your email address or phone number.
Why we collect it
We process this information solely to prepare and respond to your quote request and, if you proceed, to arrange the transport service you have requested. The lawful basis for this processing under UK GDPR is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). We do not use your details for marketing and we do not share them with third parties except where required to perform the service or by law.
How long we keep it
Quote request details are retained only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting booking, after which they are deleted, unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting or insurance purposes.

1. Quotes and bookings
Quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation, based on the information supplied by the customer. A booking is confirmed only when accepted by RJD Express Ltd. Quotes may be revised if the actual consignment differs materially from the description provided.
2. Cancellation
Bookings may be cancelled by the customer before collection. Where a vehicle has already been dispatched or costs have been incurred, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Goods in transit and liability
Goods are carried subject to standard UK conditions of carriage. RJD Express Ltd's liability for loss of or damage to goods in transit is limited in accordance with those standard conditions of carriage. Customers should declare the nature and value of goods accurately and arrange additional insurance for high-value consignments where appropriate. 4. Customer obligations
The customer is responsible for ensuring goods are adequately packaged for road transport, accurately described, lawful to carry, and available for collection at the agreed time and place. Restricted or hazardous items may only be carried by prior written agreement.
5. Delays
Delivery times are given in good faith. RJD Express Ltd is not liable for delays arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including traffic conditions, weather and vehicle breakdown, but will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer of any significant delay.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
